Esk Valley is one of the earlier vineyards to be established in the Hawkes Bay that has continually evolved with the times to produce better quality wines and with a range of new grape varieties.  Located on the hills above Bayview, Napier its Terraces Vineyard has its own microclimate with steep North East facing slopes to capture plenty of sunshine but close to the coast to capture cooling sea breezes during the evening.  Esk Valley is a consistent producer of excellent wines that have all the characteristics for cellaring.  These should be an addition to any cellar as many of them are reasonably priced and  provide great value for money.  This one of may long time favourites in the Hawkes Bay.
